he certainly did!

Scotty dropped by on his way North and let me take the 340rr for a spin. What a bit of kit!

Set out out past Hillend heading for Nine MIle burn, after a quick rip along one junction of the bypass, which allowed me to gauge its overtaking potency!

Discovered that on lifting off, a shotgun sounds, brilliant, although I think a cxertain cyclist may have been off home to change his shorts! Sorry!

Love the way that car looks, handles tremendously, very well sorted on its Donnigton settings. Grip was superb also, but the gear shift is simply epic. What a solid rifle bolt like action, tiny shift, which took a bit of getting used to but hugely rewarding and the vtec switch is great - kicks in just after 4 and then foes again even harder as you skip past 6 - genial!

Good to see Socttu also, and looking forward to the Atom even more now!

did you return to aberdeen along deeside? I was passed by something very quick at around 9pm on the Raemoir to Westhill road. I am sure the number plate had 340 in it.

Alfa GTV. It was just after the roundabout that left goes to Elrick, right goes to Peterculter and straight ahead to aberdeen. you dived in between me and another car. had a quick look and shot past it as well.

jealously is not the right word but very close

I have a TS rather than the V6. the big things on the TS are oil consumption, weekly check is essential, rear suspension bushes, timing/aux belts and tensioners and front tyre wear inner edges. I dont think the V6 has the same issues with oil or rear bushes. The wheel alignment is so easily knock out. My rear brakes are a right pain, always stripping and cleaning. Don't leave the handbrake on if you are not returning to the car within a day.

excellant cheers (although not for him i fear). will tell him about checking the oil, and the handbrake but the rest will just confuse
