The knockhill day is looks pretty dissapointing, not done it myself but i have done the BARS course there, which has many of the same features.

However, a couple of friends of mine both run two seperate rally schools south of ayrshire. Tommy Mackin (really :? ) runs the scottish forest rally school, all the cars are proper RWD escorts and stage is a proper bit of woods. Not sure of cost but the number is 01290700601.

Jonnie Johnstone, of Croft services/ Jonnie Johnstone motorsport has in the past few months set up a rally school near new galloway on the actual stages of the Galloway Hills Rally and has about 50 stage miles. Not sure what he's running, but he usually has a few MK2 escorts and has had a scooby sitting for a while, he's probably using these. Not 100% sure of cost IIRC it's £150 and the number is 01292541272.

I've been lucky enough to get most of the KH day as Corporate entertainment over the last couple of years, and none would have impressed if it had been my own cash...
The rally thing was beasting the Sierras up the course (access road round the bottom of the circuit). Great fun but ultimately a bit short lived for the money. Best bit was being passenger when the frankly mental instructor shows how it should be done  No, tell a lie, best bit was my boss having his engine cut three times for being "out of control"
The one I enjoyed most was the F355. Although the guy was quite precious about the revs, I discovered you could ignore his "change up" request twice before he raised his voice  Still short shifting but the sound was awesome. The only one I would recomend to be fair
