John,

I work in the office for the 'other' asset and kinda guessed this was coming, but there's a lot of grumbling on how this was done and what effect this is going to have on onshore numbers also.

It's a bummer, but why not ask for a move to another field - you're younger than most of the codgers and the new shift pattern must mean some new blood is needed.

been told by OIM that I am not one of those in "scope".... will find out more over the next few weeks. lots of bad feelinf already so the real question is "do I still want to work for Shell?"
