Excellent result for both of you, good to see that you are consistent class winners.
I presume the Scooby was John?
Pity about Graeme and Jennifer, but due to the Class system, he has no chance of getting overall Champion in the Hillclimb, but he could well do it in the Sprint if he has the reliability, and can get 8 x 32 points, or close to.
I do not see anybody being able this year to get the max 256 points that I was aiming for that would win it outright, but he must have a chance of getting very close, and although I do not have the latest results, John Stevenson could well be his main challenger.

Doune Hillclimb - 2 x Class Wins
In my case this is mainly due to the car being v.quick and the opposition being n.fast enough . . . still I'll take the glassware anyway . . .tut wrote:Excellent result for both of you, good to see that you are consistent class winners.

Aye - fastest roadcar and new record to boot . . . even the fast caterhams are being left behind with his 20000bhp car . . . all credit tho' hussling that up the hillI presume the Scooby was John?
Results are here : http://www.dounehillclimb.com/Results/June07/times.pdf
I'm not sure the 64ft and split times were working properly . . .
Something that will not concern me as I'm only in it for the fun/fear/terror aspect of it . . . having a 3 week holiday in the middle of the season makes it worthless entering in any case . . . so fun/fear/terror it is . . .Pity about Graeme and Jennifer, but due to the Class system, he has no chance of getting overall Champion in the Hillclimb, but he could well do it in the Sprint if he has the reliability, and can get 8 x 32 points, or close to.

Double header at Forrestburn this weekend . . . so aim to continue the run if possible . . .
Also we're planning to be at the Lossiemouth sprint at RAF Lossiemouth on 28th/29th July run my the RAFMSA . . . was a cracking event last year and quite a good intro to people trying things for the first time, big wide open runways . . . unlike the 12ft wide tracks of Doune/Forrestburn . . . would be good to see some more Loti out on track . . .
