I was a bit conserned about Scottishelises becoming elitist (no pun intended), with charters and rules, and what was coming across (in my perception) as the old v the young.

If and when we knock together any kind of charter, its goal will be inclusivity and some core consistency, that's all.

No elitism, separatism, specialism etc.

As has been identified by more than one person, there *is* a uniqueness about this forum in that it is not a faceless internet site where people tend to hide identities and live out fantasies etc. It's actually a virtual representation of a real world community, and it'll stay that way for as long as people on here keep on meeting up and spending time together - and having all the fun that they invariably do

Of course if it changes, it changes. Such is life!

Jamie, I don't follow why you think you need instructions, most people have joined this forum without 'knowing' people - you get to know them through interaction either real or electronic, that choice is up to the individual. There is no magic instruction or set of guidelines that will fill in all the gaps - you build on relationships to get to know people - that surely is half the fun.

Never having met Jamie I'm getting the impression he loves being the Simon Cowel of the forum. I smile everytime he posts as I know it will be imflamitary for a lot of the members. Jamie, seriously, are you as dim as you make out or are you a comic genius? I for one hope it is the latter. In the meantime... Keep on writing at least you give me a smile every now and then.
