G, you know watches well :thumbsup .

Its made by the brother of the guy making the U boat. All limited editions like the U-boat watches of early days to add future value. I remember the days when you could buy one for £400 (about 3 years ago). Probably the same will happen with Welder. In any case its a nice solid fashion watch.

Scotty, I bought it from Harvey Nick in Edinburgh (they don't sell the watch online).

Greg, which one is that?

You can actually buy the Welder online: http://www.watchuseek.com/site/welder_shop.htm
Just like Mass said, I bought my Uboat from there a few years ago when they were unheard of and I paid about £330 for it. Now they're £1500-£2000 albeit are now Swiss movement. I guess Welder will go the same way....So Scotty, feel safe ordering from Watchuseek. MASSIVE website and originally run buy a dude called Ernie who I've dealt with before.

Hey Mass, funny enough the KH steward (guy with scared lip) asked if my watch was a Uboat to which I replied....Uboat was soooo last year....it's a Bell & Ross...all in jest of course!

I was in the burgh yesterday....walked passed the Swatch shop and I was tempted by one of theirs for mucking about.

I think the guy (Joe) asked as he has an U-boat too. I never got an U-boat myself as I already have a number of large round watches. Got the Welder as it was a BIG black square chronograph.

Nice watch Mass, very distinctive and unusual. Bring along to the AMP3 day, it would be interesting to see it in the flesh!! :thumbsup
