Good to hear this has been set up, gives some alternative viewing from the show itself, just like last couple of years, and now much less pressure to get down for some track viewing on the Friday afternoon.
Great! We might do two laps of the Dales on the way instead
Hm...maybe need to take my lid too...

Going the wrong way?
Sideways?
Backwards?
Or just briskly
It's a full complement of just two cars for the scenic route tomorrow...a far cry from previous years! But the bar should be busier come 8pm or so...I hope

Andy,
Think Robin mentioned leaving later on Friday. See earlier posts in this thread to be sure.

Newbie here from Inverness. I'll be doing the LoT day at Donington on the Saturday then heading to Silverstone on the Sunday. Mind if I join you for curry on Saturday evening?

Hi PT,
Welcome aboard.
Yep, got a space or two going spare at the Curry so welcome along! You staying at Premier Inn Nottingham West? If not, drop me a txt at some point as we will be at Sinatra Bar in Chapel Quarter in Notts before the curry. All details further up the thread.

Oooo, will get the full tale from you over dinner tomorrow!
Link to route if you have time, but don't worry I have a spare copy with me
Note - pic shows the trickiest part but you can of course navigate around for a better view:
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 34961&z=10
Quite proud of this one as if the roads in the latter part of the Dales are in reasonable nick, it misses out all the urbanisation through Harrogate etc etc. But we shall see...
See you in the morning.

Had an email from LoT to say they have a added tomorrow (18th) at Donington as a full day open pit lane. Wished I'd read this a couple of days ago

Neil,
Thanks for the offer - appreciated - but not doing trackday anyway, so not a lot of point - will take down the 330D - perhaps take that on track if it's not busy - probably scalp a few ... under yellow flag section anyway
Cheers,
Robin
