It's a pity Gavin ("Guidedog") isn't about so much on the forum these days, Eric: he's a regular dog whisperer, and a real wealth of behavioural information- was what he did for a living.

I presume Dom was talking about us.

After having Star for nearly a couple of years we thought it was about time we got another pup to keep him company on walks. Seeing Star/Zoe together made us realise that he loves having the company of other dogs when walking in the woods.

Luckily the SE "puppy finder" service worked a treat (thanks to Dom + Ross :thumbsup ) as unfortunately Star's breeder did not have any black working cocker spaniels in their litters.

Got the following pics and we could not decide as their cuteness score is off the radar:

So we popped down to Yorkshire on Friday to see the choice of 2 girls and decided to go for this cutie (one on the right in the above photos):

Skye is 5 weeks old so picking her up in 4 weeks time.

Also found out on Friday that the other working cocker spaniel bitch may be available. Give me a pm and I can pass on Alison's details.

We had to take a "nice" pic of the three of us. Here are a couple of the rejects.

I wouldn't be able to take such a pic. By the time I put the cake down and picked up the camera it would be gone. Or at the very least, my lab would be staring at the cake, barely able to contain herself, with at least 4 or 5 six inch strands of drool hanging from her mouth. :damnfunny
