Managed to give the 964 a quick wash at the weekend and decided to take out the Spyder as well for a quick photo shoot (although the pics are not the nicest). However it does go to show that our colour choice in vehicles has some similarities to Lotus:

Had them fitted on the Boagster and they were fine...............No shuddering or pick up from the pads

Europarts have local depots all over Scotland.
Your neighbourly garage will also have an account with Machar Road if you want to have the spanner work done locally?

The Pagid dics n pads are ok for a normal use but won't be any good if you brake hard a lot.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

£600 for a major service and a brake fluid change at Porsche Edinburgh, not as bad as I thought. They did make several 'suggestions' which my PPI had highlighted as needing done in te next 10k miles (discs, possible clutch - won't know 'till we're in there, sir!) so I have aquifer from them.

Anyone used SP autobahn in Stirling for work? Came well recommended by my pre purchase inspection man, Peter Morgan.

Greg,

SP Autobahn have a good reputation although I have never used them.

There are a couple of options option to you being Edinburgh based:
David Phillips in Fountainhall: http://www.davidphillipsautos.co.uk/
Motortune in Shotts http://www.motortuneshotts.co.uk/

I have changed from David Phillips to using Motortune.

There is another independent in Edinburgh which comes recommended but can't for the life of me remember his name.

You will be thinking of Brian Miller. I used him for my Boxster. £430 for a major service and fluid change v £640 or thereabouts for service alone at Porsche Edinburgh.
