Anyway...

Camera is off to Cameratiks in Edinburgh to get repaired. They gave me a cheaper quote and Andy Snap recommended them :thumbsup

Thanks everyone. :) I won't be taking the camera down the beach again :(

Guys, this is ridiculous. I don't know what you think gives you the right to make completely inappropriate comments about me and my girlfriend on a public forum. And Mac, what's with these comments too:

http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =4&t=15650
http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =3&t=15976

I know this is all just intended as a joke, and inappropriate/rude stuff can be funny, but it's getting a bit tiring now and it's a bit unfair when it's targeted at two of our own forum members.

I don't see any of the other couples on the forum having inappropriate comments made about them (e.g. Stuart + Pauline, Mac + Mandy, Derek + Karen, etc.). So, don't do it to us. Mac, how would you like it if I posted inappropriate and rude comments about your wife Mandy? You wouldn't, and neither would the rest of you if your partner read the forum. So don't do it to other people.

I'm unfortunately too busy to keep up with the forum at present, otherwise I would have caught this earlier and put a stop to it. It's simply rude and completely out of order.

This is a really good way of encouraging our female membership, ain't it guys?!

Derek,

You’re quite right to highlight this and single me out as the main culprit. I hope you know that I did not intend to be offensive in my remarks and I apologise to both you and Heather unreservedly.

I’ve been here long enough that I should know what it and isn’t acceptable behaviour on Scottish Elise and the post that you have selected not only show me in a bad light but might be taken by others that these kinds of posting are acceptable when they are not.
