Was that the big bald guy? If so, thats the guy that I dealt with.

I suppose any place that fixes the volume of cars they do is going to have "issues" but I had none. The reason I took my car there was that they had experience and MMC said they used them.

Yup, that's the guy.

I'm quite confident in him. Just have to wait and see.

Think people have been poking at the dent cos the fibreglass is starting to flake off. Sooner it gets seen to the better.

Well the reason MMC use them is that the brother in law of the regional manager of the John Martin Motor group, which MMC is under, runs Allied.

The regional manager for Scotland of the JM Group is Derek Gentles. He's the guy at the top you should go to when you have real issues with a MMC branch btw.

Yes. I hear the poor guy died at 34 of a heart attack. Employees were walking all over him. Hence the state its in now.

JM jr was a well respected member of SE1. Not much of a poster, but always kept tabs on what was going on and made members feel very welcome every time you met him.

Can't comment on the statement that the employees walked all over him, but that certainly wasn't the impression I was under.

He was a great help in solving problem that memebers had and I know that most of the guys from SE1 have fond memories.

I suppose there's connections and backscratching everywhere. As it happens, I went to school with the guy who owns/runs Allied.

Yup - similarly can't comment about his staff and what they may or may not have done, but the man himself was a gentleman.

Sadly missed.

My mate sells cars for Allied. He say there are elises in there all the time that are smashed. He has looked at alot of the work when it has come out the body shop and said they do a good job.

Cheers
