Ooh, just seen the view of the house from the street. Stands out a bit.

Looks okay from close up and inside, but nothing special or 'grand' and from the street :?

An interesting story rather than a grand design this week. Agree with the view from the road, doesn't fit in at all.

call me sick but I did see the unusual start coming. was interesting trying to work out wither the architect or Kevin "the sperminator" Mcloud would knock up the merry widow (Am I the only one who thought she looked better sans husband?)

Anyway loved the house I like when budgets are limited, the I have unlimited funds brigade are just as dull as the I am an Architect and I am showing off BTW have you seen my SAAB crowd.

Cant believe that the council insist on coal tarring every barn conversion, surely that argument that Kev gave would put that one to rest PDQ.

I liked the hall bit, but only as a novelty, it's a pretty much useless space and the main barn was nice downstairs with the high cielings but upstairs was pretty pokey.

Was that a 'Grand Design' ...or simply a restoration project? :?

Agree with the comments above, it was a bit of a patchwork when it was finished not very cohesive. What is the point of huge ( barn) dining room, big open spaces downstairs and then pokey bedrooms. I think more effort should have gone into the planning / design element to pull it all together. Most disappointing end product of the series so far.

I thought it was ok, it's not what I would have done but if you told me I had to live in it for a year I wouldn't be terribly upset.
