Popped along with the family, made me itch to get the Elise back out, give Scotty some competition from polishers and understeering gravel set up rally cars

some amazing cars, enzo was stunning
Guy binning the 430 scuderia wasn't ideal really.
Always thought I would be my boy Alfie who would be mad into cars but it's the daughter who particularly loved the unsilenced stunt bike!

That's a great shame Gareth. It was not down to you in any way, so perhaps she can be persuaded to try again some time!

Only stayed an hour.
you should have said i had some free tickets. Saying that there was lots to see on track and i would have paid £8 just to see Kevin Carmicheal.
Grampian Transport Museum is a charity and if it wasn't for speed fest and the bike day they would have to close the doors.
Why did you not take the kids?

Was a good day out. Good selection of cars and it stayed dry (which was nice as i left my roof off)
I would say £8 is a pretty cheap 6hrs entertainment.
Kevin Carmicheal always puts on a good show, but cant help feel he's limited with what he can do at Alford on an oval track with no real open space. well impressed with the cross-armed one handed wheelies!

I thought it was an excellent day and good weather for it too. Some fantastic cars there too. Arrived to see Scotty thrashing some youngster round the track. Was impressed by how quick the Tesla was, but could use a Stage 3 exhaust.
£8 was well worth it. Shame they didn't have more space there as it could be a much bigger event. Was impressed to see Ferrari having a stand and several top spec shiney Ferraris. Had a good run up with Tut, Gary, Graeme and my mate Alan also in his RS, who was struggling to keep up. The Loti are far better through the really twisty bits. Some American guy decided he wanted pics of the Lotus with the most duct tape holding it together at Ballater!

As Scotty said these events keep the museum open, mine are young but still enjoyed it. Sideways into and out of the corners on the bike was awesome

Looked as if he forgot to turn.
Happily paid £6 even though I could have got in for free, and they let me park right outside the front entrance.

We missed the crash as we had found a spot at the back of the track and couldn't see the top corner for the trees. You might be right though Tut bacause as he went down the back straight he was waving out the car window so he might not have been concentrating.

Davie missed the crash too, but that's probably because I had left early to gain some Brownie points with the other half, Away last weekend, KH next weekend and camping the weekend after. Was looking out for you but did see anyone I knew.
Gary / Tut, wish I could have joined you for your trip home via the Lecht . Hope no scam vans lurking, I was onlly just at the Shell garage leaving Alford when passed by a Corsa VXR on that longish straight, shame about the maked BMW parked in a track at the end of the straight , it had caught up with him at Whitehouse. Really enjoyed the run out with yourselves, Pete and Alan. Hope to join you again.
Cheers
