Adam, I doubt Button and Webber would score points, without a car or engine

Need to pick a couple of less expensive drivers, to leave cash for chassis and engine.
(need a minimum of 44 mil, just for HRT or Virgin engine and chassis.)

For anyone who hasn't got a handle on the league yet, you have to maange your team over the season by spending earned points to upgrade/change your team. You can only afford driver/engine/chassis combinations from teh lower end of the grid to begin with. As you earn money you can change these although there is a points fee on transactions to take into account. It really makes it anyones game as at the start of the season the results are usually all over the palce in the midfield.

Roll back to the last race and pick the cheapest 2 drivers and the cheapest engine and chassis. This will show you how little extra you have to play with. The extra can be invested in better drivers or components, remeber to roll back before you make your new changes though as changes also take a fee.

Moving team choices around was free untill the season opener after which tranfers fees apply. Did you have a full team chosen before the first race?

nope it seems i just have 2 drivers.

i had a full team at the first race but somehow lost my chassis and engine

What drivers did you pick? As the next poster states if you really did have Button and Webber then there is no way you could have had budget for the engine and chassis.

If you did have Button and Webber you need to sell them to get the cash to build a full team. You can look around the other members picks to see what a sensible (i.e. cheap) team choice is.

Rusty, did you have an accepted team where your remaining budget was still positive? If not it wasn't a valid team. You should however have a load of cash to buy a cheap driver.


ALso note guys that you sometimes need to reload the team page to wipe any test transactions you've made. This will stop incorrect values. I know the UI leaves a litle to be desired.

when i did it, i think it may have probably gone negative but i saved it and showed as a full team,

so i guessed i was ok.

gone back in and just made everything lotus. lets hope they somehow win.
