It looks as though the centre caps are worth more than the wheels hence why they are missing.

Whats the black thing?
No worries!

I've got a set of T1R's on my standard rims - Although I understand they don't work as well on the MX5 on track, due to the 300kgs extra they weigh when compared to an Elise. (£35 a corner, though!!)

The favoured tyres for track day use, seem to be either Federal 595RS-R's (Although it's a sticky tyre) - http://www.tyretraders.com/tyreInformat ... 82W595RS-R

(Only £66 per corner!)

or Hankook RS2's - http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php? ... b1866s93p0

The black thing's a Flyin' Miata turbo manifold - Picked it up in the states the other month whilst on holiday - Have 90% of the bits to supercharge mine, but have a Garrett T28 turbo (Good for 300+ bhp) lying around, so may well fit that in the future. :P
T1Rs it is then  , what about brake pads / braided hoses?! :thumbsup

Wouldn't discount the RS2's - I believe ,if you shop around, they can be had for just over £50 a corner (plus fitting).

Best braided hoses are apparently made by HEL - The fittings are high quality, and have proper swivel connectors...Unlike the Goodridge kit...

Lots of options regarding pads - Mintex / Axxis Ultimate / Carbotech are all rated for MX5 track hoonage (google around for the best deals).

(Axxis Ultimate are supposedly particularly good for track days - http://www.ca-at.co.uk/single_prod-cHJv ... yNjM5.html ).

Hankook R-S2 is not a road I'll be going down again as they are utterly crap in the cold or wet, fun for a bit as the car slides very easily but can get tiresome when just going A to B in a normal fashion trying to not look like a cock going sideways round every roundabout... lol :thumbsup

Mini cooper supercharger brackets are available on the MX5 forums, upgrade can be done for just over a grand all in DIY....

HEL Brakelines are on E-Bay for the MX5... :cheers

Hmmm - Fair enough.

A lot of those who track their MX5's seem to like them - The extra weight of the Mazda exacerbates the Toyo T1R squidgy sidewall issue, and I understand the Hankooks have a more rigid sidewall construction?

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD's are probably a decent bet too, if the price isn't too bad - Or Yoko AD07's...

TR Lane have made up the DIY M45 parts - http://www.trlanefabs.co.uk/SUPERCHARGER-PARTS.html

BUT: What started out as 'cheap' power, now costs over £500 for the TR Lane parts (add VAT & delivery to the prices on the website) - M45 superchargers have rocketed to over £250-300+ on eBay, and there's still a few bits and bobs to buy. (I have an excel spreadsheet of all the parts needed, if it's of any use).

A non-intercooled M45 set up could make about 170-180bhp - And a load more torque.

(And if you happened to know someone who could make the fitment parts, you could do it a fair bit cheaper...Especially if you also knew someone who has the technical drawings...  )

This is getting a bit like the Scottish Skoda appreciation club... :P

I like the fact that is says "used". I mean otherwise, you wouldn't have known :-)

I reckon that car will "have" Team Tedward's MX-4.5
