When the house is done need to hold a sponge and spanners session, and make sure the bar is properly stocked!

It's a rather sunny Stewarton today too I work at the railway station and if you continue 500 yards down the road from your garage shot you will be at ExigeKen's.
If you need a hand with anything give me a shout.
Small world. Some cracking wee roads about, seems like it will be a nice place to live. There is mountains to do on the house as you can see, but take my time, get it right, and should be a cracker. Things I am looking forward to is having a big garage all finished and getting my own wee tools collection etc. Got it water tight nearly so need to pop on a new door I think as it doesnt stay up when open and give it a wee clean out and maybe paint floor and the roof so the new wood doesnt soak up the moisture. Also to have my man cave with all my guitars, wee piano and the bar put in, then finish off with a big projector for large scale forumla 1.The rest of the house, Holly can tell me what she wants and Ill just get it painted and done. As long as it looks good, Ill be happy, not too fuzzy. I just want it clean and simple.

Definately have one organised when the house is finished, hoping to be nearly done end of the summer. Hopefully I will have my bar in, fully stocked, and HD projector then we can hold a wee day to catch the F1 on the big screen, couple of beers, BBQ, Spanner and sponge session etc. Should be all good

All depend on how much funds are available, as with old houses you can only guess how much and before you know it you peal back something and more money is needed. If all goes well though we should be moved in by end of the summer, I just guess my bar and HD projector will be last on the list, Holly keeps telling me the kitchen and boring stuff like that is more important pffft.

Tell me about the old house issue. Ours is over 100 years old and what started as a wee leak turned into replacing a lot of the roof joists, lintels, etc, etc... Can't beat the space and style though.

There are some nice roads about, explore the roads over towards Paisley and Beith.
Stewarton is a nice place just avoid the David Dale

and up by the school can get a bit dodgy.

Good going Scott n Holly

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Exactly my thoughts - lovely place for first time buyers - made all the better by the visit and photo from the old lady.
Well done to you both
