Campbell,

Congratulations on reaching the 100k mark :D

To be honest I think that due to you achievement you should be given an honoury slot on the Scottish Elise's Calendar. It would be a sacriledge if your car did not appear in 2014.

Jeremy - I do get the shakes every 3 years or so. In the 14 yrs we've had the Elise, have thought of changing it several times only to always return to the fact that no other Elise can be the *thousands* of pounds better! And only managed to change Lisa's car twice in that time too...including a 6 year tenure on a Mk 4 GTi Anniversary and 4 years and counting on an Octavia vRS... We got a quick hit by buying a little MINI Cooper Park Lane in 2011. A one year project. That was two years ago. Oops. Oh, and the B&B? I didn't know I had one of those!

George - a slot for 2014 would be a delight but still needs earned on merit. Going to try harder with the camera this year though :-) And in any case this fella might have something to say about a shoo-in...

...yes, Mr Smee, that's you, our resident ever-present annual snapper! The pics are not exactly EVO quality and were shot in something of a hurry between an iPhone and a Sony Alpha DSLR. Can you spot which is which!! At least one was shot from a tripod, though...I felt like an EVO staff photographer at that point :-)

Congratulations on your 10,000 post and 100,000 miles in your car Campbell. :cheers

You will have to write a book about the adventures with UJI, as that would be a great read. I hope that you can remember all of the great times that you have had in your car with your friends and family. I am sure that your children and eventually your grandchildren would love to hear about the many stories of the happy and funny times that you have experienced. Even the bad episodes can be laughed at now.

Campbell, to me you optimise everything what SE is all about, and I hope that you carry on with it all :thumbsup

I hope that UJI gives you many miles of joy in the future, and that you reach the next milestone in posts with maybe the same great style. 20,000 posts to 200,000 miles maybe. :D

Hope to see you at some point this year, and hear some of your earlier exploits with UJI.

Congratulations again, and I hope that your all keeping well. :cheers

More likely to be 200K posts at 200K - Elise miles inversely proportional to (age of children + posts/minute on SE2 ;-))

Well done Campbell on your 100000 Miles and 10000 posts. One post every 10 miles, impressive stuff :thumbsup Good to see that the car is actually driven and enjoyed rather than just stuck in a garage somewhere waiting for a nice sunny day. You are a true salwart of S.E.

Apologies Campbell I had it in my head that Rathmohr was a B&B for some reason put it down to a 50+ senior moment !

Totally get what you say about the S1 I sometimes look at replacing mine but wonder if 3 or 4 times the cost would give me 3 or 4 times the thrill. I suspect it wouldn't.
