For me it is far superior than TG or 5th Gear and more relevant to a car fan. It at least imparts some knowledge about car mechanics and restoration methods. Sure, Brewer is a comedy sidekick but it works well to balance out the more in depth sections where Ed is changing camber etc, even if he is a little in your face.
You have to be kidding - Chris Harris is about the only thing worth watching, but at least TG isnt wooden, and 5th Gear presenters actually can present.
These guys are absolutely shocking. Not many times I look at a TV show and think I could do better, but in this case, anyone could. Talentless muppetry that robs you of time you'll never get back

I like it, got to take it all with a pinch of salt though.
If you actually tried to make a living the way these guys go about things you'd be bankrupt in no time.

I don't watch it for the production or presentation qualities, I watch it for the mechanical / restoration insight and tips. I appreciate it is on a fairly basic and superficial level, but I still enjoy it. Sometimes I admire their upgrades, but mostly assess where I would spend the money differently. I also enjoy the reminiscing over cars from my youth. Looking forward to the new series.

I'm not a fan of Harris. I find it hard to connect with him - but that is very obviously a personal thing. I enjoy WH for what it is, a somewhat informational show with classic cars that I like to see / hear about.
You disagree and I appreciate that.

I was SO dissapointed with their Lotus effort that ended it for me.
I genuinely think it could be an awesome show, but you need someone more personable than Brewer, and his lines seem so strictly scripted - there is no real story or depth to the programme at all.
Still amazed so many people watch it - its right up there with Antiques Roadshow in terms of desire to watch for me.

Pretty much sums up my view on the show

I agree - great concept but the execution is dire. Mate watches it for Ed's mistakes (whilst mocking his "special" gloves).
