Did it get up the drive ok? Meant to ask - or is it a case of reversing it?

Congratulations on the new purchase.

So, how does the 50:50 finance thing work ? Presumably after 2 years you either pay the balance with ssavings, trade the car in, or sign a new agreement to re-finance the balance ?

I have seen the e mail from Brindon also and although my head tells me it's stupid, don't go there, I find it appeals very strongly to my inner sense of man maths.

Yeh pretty much as described - I traded in my elise and made up the balance to 50% of the value of the car. 0% interest free for 2 years then either pay off the balance, trade in and start again or finance the final payment.

My man maths works - had enough for half the value of the car so enjoy it for 2 years then worry about finding £30k in 2 years time

It makes sense to me
