Thoroughly enjoyed the EVO writeup. Hope they get access to more insight over the year.

Re: Zenos
If they really can ship a useable model at £25k, that's a very impressive package.

Fixed - Kenny, you'd linked to the page in Flickr, not to the image. There's a share button in Flickr that lets you copy the exact code you need to insert in a post to display as above.

Looks good, although, personally, I think a slightly darker shade of blue would work better.
Edit to add; more like Lotus's Magnetic Blue, or Azure Blue
I like Blue cars, but it needs to be a stronger colour - pale shades don't do it for me.

Re: Zenos
Thanks Shug.
I did paste the link it gave me when I pressed the share button.
I'll take another look see where I went wrong.

Re: Zenos
Does it have to be blue? I think it would suit a lighter colour to bring out the subtle edges in the panels (which tend to disappear into dark paint), but light blue (especially solid non-metallic) is going to look toy-ish. I think it needs a more serious/sophisticated colour to give it some class and stop it looking like a kit-car to the 99.99999% who've never seen one before.
All personal preference of course, and I'd happily sell my soul for one in any colour
Thinking about it, it looks like a peice of cake to respray/wrap, so it doens't matter if you get it wrong. Pick something resale-happy like white.
Orange is a bad idea... it'll get mistaken for a X-Bow.

Good news for Zenos by the looks of it - This must mean they are getting serious.

Re: Zenos
Hi Steve,
Timings appear to be slipping but I fully expected this.
Originally we were to test drive the car on the 20th but the car won't be ready for that in time. We were still planning to visit the factory to see the prototype though as I haven't actually seen it in the flesh.
That has just been knocked on the head too as the car (they currently only have the one) is now needed in Holland for the dealership launch there on 20th and 21st June.
There will be two evaluation prototypes in early build stages on the 20th so I think we'll still go for a look anyway and meet some of the team.
To be fair to Ansar he has kept me well informed at all times and the delays as I said were what I expected anyway.
Due to the delays and the distances involved Ansar e-mailed me yesterday apologising and has offered to pay to fly me from Aberdeen to Norwich and back to see the car when it's available, this should be late July or early August.
They are planning to have trackday tests for us later in the year much like Lotus did at Croft recently, that'll be ideal I think.
I was very very tempted to buy the grey 2-11 that's currently in MMC but the timing isn't quite right so I'll be sticking with the Zenos for now, I don't expect to see it for about a year though. It was Stu Pollocks 2-11 that turned me on to the idea of a more track focused car in the first place so who knows, I'm quite an impulsive purchaser so a 2-11 might end up taking it's place - time will tell.
Have you seen the renders of the Zenos with it's removable screen on? it looks great!
Cheers,
Kenny
