Labour are in a hole just now. To aptly steal a term from The Thick of It - they really are an omnishambles

Dugdale is out of her depth and doesn't seem to grasp that her main fiscal policy - that involves increasing taxes for a lot of people - is not a great point to start from to rebuild support for her party.
Wee Nicky is credible, determined, sharp, appealing to the female vote and generally on a different level to the competition in Scotland. Doesn't mean I would vote for her but I understand why so many do. Before the referendum the 'Yes' message was about hope and change. After 'the vow' and subsequent broken promises and perception of being 'done over' the message seems to be about hope, change and resentment which could become very powerful if they pitch it correctly (i.e. in a Star Wars rebellion fashion!)
Apart from the blue colour palette, you'd be hard pressed to know that Davidson was a Conservative. They seem to be doing everything they can to make her the face/name/voice and distance the campaign from the UK Tories as much as possible. Not really a surprise when their main pitch is 'pick us to put up the best fight against the overwhelming SNP position' - somewhat at odds with UK (England) Tory position.
As a Scot living in England I find it fascinating observing the political landscape change in Scotland. I was back in East Lothian last weekend and at a farmers market in Haddington the main parties (and UKIP) all made an appearance. The SNP stand was swarming with folk and had a real buzz. The Tories had a fair amount of interest and looked like a well oiled machine. The incumbent Labour candidates stand was empty and they all looked miserable.
I don't follow it closely enough to predict % but I wouldn't be surprised if Tories roll Labour.
