Very sad news
Met Phil a few times over the year as he attended a few of the SIDC events over the years, sometimes just to watch and chat with everyone.

Shocked and saddened to hear this news. I only met Phil a couple of times at events in years gone by, but as others say, he really struck me as being the true definition of a gentleman.

Terrible news, only met Phil a few times and like Andy knew him more from his Facebook posts. Terrible loss and thoughts are with his family.

Very sad news, unexpected by the sounds of things, but either way lovely chap, met a few times up at KH and always had good chat. RIP Phil.

This is terrible news, I remember him very well as I sold him his Yellow 111R new in 2004; he worked and saved so hard for it, we spoke about it for 2 years before he took the plunge and he loved it to bits.
Puts things in perspective indeed; a lovely gentle guy with a smart and inquisitive nature. Thoughts with his family. Rest in peace.
