Why do people buy light colours carpets? The g/f fitted one in the back room and complains everytime I leave muddy footprints on it. The rest of the house (which I have just walked through) you can't tell as the carpet is cheapo contractor carpet put in when the house was built in c1980 seems fine and lasts ages, so why change it?
