Sounds like Englandshire.... we may have as much as 1cm of snow, so we'll close everything as a precaution. Then drive into each other coz we're all stupid. Having said that, it did look like there was some deeper snow on the Beeb this morning.

i f****** had to go to office when we had 2 feet of snow last winter!
luckily there was 6 feet of snow in front of my boss' house, so he couldnt come to work for a week.
but i was told there is an escape tunnel for most of the castles...

so i suppose he didnt go starving for a week.

Hope the planes are not effected so I can get home tomorrow.

Well I assume you were effected (sic) as half of England had shut down last time I checked the beeb website!!
9cm of snow and they lose it, what a pile of nonsense.
And First Scotrail ain't much better. It was FROSTY the other morning, for gawd's sake, and all the Edin - Glasgow trains were just totally stuffed.
Telecommuting. That's the way forward. At least until the earth warms up a bit more. Ah, but then we'll all be affected by the government's and councils' inability to deal with torrential rain and flooding. <sigh>

Or "mis-management" since the 18:35 was cancelled 5 hours before it was due or do BA have a crystal ball?
