Great write up Neil.
After your Oulton performance I reckon you need to keep the car and take out as much weight as is practicable without going mad and just race the year out to see how it goes. The regs are bound to change for next year and you'd kick yourself if they make changes to the class B regs that suit your car a bit better or at least even things up a bit as class B is really excluding NA Honda's to some extent. Moreover, if it ends up that they are able to run class A as a separate race next year then it might make it more tempting to move down to class A but that's not a decision to make now I reckon.

Anyway, you could always through a class A engine in the yellow shed and store the Honda.

Some of the weight reduction techniques for class B might be hard to reverse when stepping down to class A.
Cheers,
Robin.

Aye - noticed the lack of gloves too - Andy also . . . surely if a plumbed extinguisher and gimp suit are mandatory . . . gloves and a balaclava are too ?

Think for the cost of gloves and the balaclava I would be wearing them too. No matter how good the driver you won't win without hands & a head

Bloody right. No gloves, no knickers, and for me, no shoes.
What is the situation on that Neil, is it under MSA blue book rules, that still does not lay down that you have to wear shoes?
