Re: FAO Ali @ SLS (Paperwork)
tried it. was massively unimpressed. All pies will be consumed as the main centre of attention from now on.

Pie aye, pie lovers.....
Chicken pie with gravy sause, not white sause, yum!
Scotch pie with beans on top yum!
Mac cheese pie is also a great contender but mum's finger can still be popped in if deened nessesary
I'm all out of pie chat now, saw a great dan akroid film the other day, pies like us, while fixing a hole in my jeans but struggled to get the thread through the pie of the needle but now it's all gravy as the mrs fixed them. I wasn't up to the job anyway as I was feeling a little pastry .

appreciate the clarification Andy
I think it's clear that Ali is doing his duster to sort things, and hopefully all the feedback has been useful

Re: FAO Ali @ SLS (Paperwork)
I would just like to add that I have not seen any paperwork from MMC. Its all done on a memory stick
Saying that I have never seen a bill yet either. I hope MMC are not reading this

Andy,Andy G wrote:Hi Gareth
Is this in reference to the copy of the invoice you asked for before (work that was carried out before you had the car) or not? (if it is for the work Cammy had done then that was sent previously to you??) Welcome to PM if you'd prefer.
To make it clear, my involvement in this has been purely to assist Ali in getting started, and helping along the way where i can
However, its Ali's business, and all problems need to go through him as i have no involvement in the day to day matters of the garage.
To this extent I believe SLS now have a system as per the other email from Zach, for sorting invoices for car collection, something I, like many of you, have asked to be done in the past, and way before now. (and this thread has pointed to the importance of what i have been saying). I have offered admin support for this express purpose previously FOC incidentally.
Payment systems to date, have been hindered by lack of communications at the garage - and they are now looking at a wireless payment card reader.
To be honest, this thread was directed to Ali and I think the people who should of responded to it should of been him or others raising issues similar to mine. If you have nothing to do with it, there should not have been a response from you or Shug for that matter (who also appeared to jump on the defensive). Shug and Campbell have said it should be taken offline and directed with Ali personally but I had tried that and failed. Personally the thread should stay live until the problem is fixed. From what I can see, there's been no abuse or name calling, just facts stated.
Anyway, I've achieved what I set out to do and got a response from Ali or a representative of his (Zach). I received my receipt of work which was not entirely to my satisfaction due to the lack information on breakdown of work carried out on the car. Having had Lotus's for a number of years I know what an 'A' service is but any potential non Lotus minded buyers won't have a clue. I've just spoken with Ali who will sort this out for me next week when Zach comes back from holiday. I just hope it doesn't prove a problem when my car goes on Sat.
Just for the record, I don't and have never had a problem with the work Ali has done. Hopefully he can learn from this and go on to prosper.
Peace and Love
Gareth
Re: FAO Ali @ SLS (Paperwork)
I think you can show them the content in the Owners Handbook though.Gareth wrote: Having had Lotus's for a number of years I know what an 'A' service is but any potential non Lotus minded buyers won't have a clue.
Even the stamped service book doesn't say as much as that.
As far as this thread is concerned, it hasn't been locked however it's not a customer complaints line, but it's good that it has raised the profile of the issues.
