I usually want to punch the telly when they bang on about eco and sustainability but the £1800 per year the house generates by producing heat and electricity is my kind of eco.

KE think is how long it would take to get back that 1800 from the extra they spent on friendly materials etc. Did they not say they had spend 20k on the windows alone?
