I missed the radio Scotland interview as well, and forgot to ask him when it would be on.

Twas rather chaotic actually, the TV lassie that was going to prep and interview me was sick, so they pulled in the Radio Scotland DJ to stand in, I arrived there five minutes before on live time as they had sent the car to Peterhead, he could not even switch on the lights in the TV studio or line up the camera so I had to do that, 20 secs before it went live London came on line as they were conducting the interview over the Satellite Link, to say I was sitting too low, but as the chair was up at max height, I had to leap up and adjust the camera as boyo had no idea, sat down to hear him saying we are now going to talk to David Duncan. Probably why I looked like a startled rabbit when I first came on with no idea what the fcuk was happening, never mind what they were going to ask me. Nobody told me that I should be looking at the camera that I could not see as it was between the two TV screens on either side, one showing me and the other the live link, which is why I was probably looking like a cross eyed camel.

The radio presenter then interviewed me in more length, which is probably what went out this morning.

There was actually more that I wanted to say in a more heated way, but I had to try and stay coherent in front of a few million people. As I was being driven I had taken my Laphroaig flask with me, which was half drained when I got home.

Highlight of the night was my driver who was only four years younger than me and an ex Royal Marine. We never stopped talking all the way there and back, and he earned £200 out of it.

Certainly a slightly different night than we had planned.

Good point, why did the BBC call me at two hours notice?

Did someone post in that I was an ex Royal Marine War Pensioner?
