Hate the colour... :)
I think it needs smoked indicators and head lamp covers.
I take it you're going to put on some sort of paint protection film?

 I still remember the first time I saw that colour on a car. It must have been a couple of years back. Dundee, roundabout by the train station. I'm in the Elise, waiting at the traffic lights. Erica says, there's a green Lotus looking thing coming around. My reaction was of course 'must be a scandal s1'. Nope it was a 340r, I think it was your collection day, possibly off to Perth for paint protection. Something must have stuck....

I'm waiting for a couple of people getting back to me re: paint protection recommendations. Not sure where to take it, have heard a couple of horror stories

For now I'm liking the orange / green contrast so am sticking with the original lenses, I might change my mind when I see the car in daylight mind!
Not convinced by head lamp covers either. I agree the Elise looks like it's missing something without, but I don't like the black lines...

Your car looks great. I wasn't too far behind you at KH when you had your bump in Colins 340R. I think next time I am on track in my own car (if HD gasket doesn't break again!) I will try and hit the gravel or something so I can justify a new paint job :D
Hope you are at KH 27th March so we can all see the car.

Looks fantastic, I think you're right to keep the orange indicators.

In my case, headlamp covers are not for looks but for protection, the same as the driving lights.

They would be smashed in five minutes on a good road run without them.

So, put the grills, number plates and the door interiors, then had a look at it in the sunlight. The way the light hits the curves of the S1 really set the paint off! (the settings of my camera made everything a bit warmer than it actually is, so the 3rd 3 photos show it in a different light...

It's off for paint protection now, so I had it for a whole 2 hours ;)

I had Transcal in Livingston retrim my seats. Fantastic job they've done too!

It wasn't that far off Lotus costs tbh. 750ish for both seat re-padded and re-trimmed, completely in dark green leather with Lotus badge headrests, bright green stitching and that different stitching line you see in the pics, plus both sill pads matching, again full leather, no black cloth sections BUT they were done over Christmas when they had employees from their Singapore plant over, and apparently at a reduced cost to usual (sales patter?)

I reckon the cost would have been the same no matter how I spec'd them (in leather) as the badge embroidery and stitching shape was discussed later. Final leather and colour choices made at a meeting with 2 of the guys there when I dropped the seats in.

They are comfier than original, maybe to the same level as the vx220 seats (which look identical to s1 seats...) and they also worked around my seat warmer kits with appropriate heat proof materials (I hope) ;)
