And is it just me or are fuel prices continuing their unrelenting march northwards, but in a slow and steady "let's hope no-one notices" stylee. I passed a station offering diesel at nearly £1.50 this weekend. And no, not in any old rural backwater but on a main A road feeding the Forth Road Bridge 
Thankfully I found it 7p a litre cheaper at Sainsbury's further up the road
I suppose people will point to middle east unrest but hasn't that been the case for 40 years!
But frankly it's now just taking the p!ss.

I have noticed the slow price creep in the last couple of weeks:
