And is it just me or are fuel prices continuing their unrelenting march northwards, but in a slow and steady "let's hope no-one notices" stylee. I passed a station offering diesel at nearly £1.50 this weekend. And no, not in any old rural backwater but on a main A road feeding the Forth Road Bridge :-(

Thankfully I found it 7p a litre cheaper at Sainsbury's further up the road :-)

I suppose people will point to middle east unrest but hasn't that been the case for 40 years!

But frankly it's now just taking the p!ss.

Think it was less - around mid eighties per litre :?: .

Edit to add: Checked prices and unleaded was 80p diesel 85p in 2000 when petrol blockades started

I have noticed the slow price creep in the last couple of weeks:

13 Feb - £1.30.9
17 Feb - £1.32.9
23 Feb - £1.33.9

All at local Shell garage
2015 Lotus Evora
2022 Polestar 2 LRSM Plus
2023 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline

Yes, it really is insidious.
