3 in April. I had the seat set as far forward as possible for me to be able to get in and out. He still needs to be in a child seat which would render it impossible unless in the pax side with no pax, that said Mrs is wee so would fit. #2 would have to be left home alone...

With the driver seat in a reasonably comfortable position for me (6ft/long legs) she had her knees sticking around the side slightly, but said leg room wise it was OK, for shortish journeys I imagine. Her head was only an inch or two off the roof. Main thing that caught my eye was the seat back ended at the height of her neck. I didn't check, but the seats seemed to have 'dummy' looking headrests built in rather than actual headrests, which wouldn't be adjustable. Didn't like the thought of nothing behind her head from a crash/whiplash/paranoid parent p.o.v.

I think that was just after we crawled out.
I'll tell you what though.... it's easier to get out of the back of an evora than the passenger seat of an S1.

Hi guys - thanks for all the feedback. especially those who took the time out to carry out field trials with their nearest & dearest. (but I'm sure it wasn't for my benifit you were all doing that. :thumbsup )

my daughter is 10yo and already well past the 5ft mark and still growing like a rocket. My son is your average 7 year old boy. problem is - they keep growing.

I really need to get down to Murray's and have a look for myself. Will have to plan a trip durign the easter hols.

:cheers

They really don't stop Alex.

My 12yr old son (5'5") found it tight in the back of a Fiat 500, so has no chance in an Evora

I've think I've been trying to kid myself an Evora would be suitable for my 6 and 7 year olds.
Fact is though, I wouldn't want them in the back of one in the event of a crash.

FTR, they're quite comfortable in the back of the 911.

So Ross...go back to the idea of an Elise and daily whip!

What's the difference between the 911 and Evora in terms of safety though? I get there is more space but is there really a legitimate safety concern?
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

I think that's the way for me - already have the daily whip which is a good motor and suits the dog carrying/shiite carting perfectly :D
