Had a great day out and it was incredible to see and hear the F1 cars running up and down Newton Street.

Some pics posted in the gallery.

As others have said, a good and enjoyable way to spend Sunday and put a few faces to names.
A great wee run home on some smaller roads, wish I was coming camping next weekend :-(

Who was the lead in the red Elise on way home as i never introduced myself ?

The Daily Record has a good follow up article in today's paper covering the weekend.
It worked out great a big thank you to all who helped bring this together. I could not have run the event without your help .

Jim Clark 50th Weekend

Post by Scottish Scrutineer » Mon May 20, 2013 10:19 pm

Good turnout, apologies for my late arrival and not joining you all on the run to Chirnside, but I cleared off home to keep the peace and finish unpacking after our week away.
I was in the Cobalt Blue S2 that didn't get in past the barriers and stopped to fill with fuel before I headed back home. Lots of motorsport folks there. Anyone else spot John Cleland and Andrew Cowan?
I'd forgotten how good the roads were down there.
