Looking nice Brian, is it a short term V6 until the Roadster comes out or are you thinking of keeping it longer?

Saw a nice yellow V6 Exige blasting through the hills around Glendevon on Monday evening. Was that you? Looked great on the road.

Yep that was me. Need to get miles on it to get the first service out of the way so no 4,500 rpm limit!

The Roadster is probably the one I would really like so yes this might be a short term V6 to get Jackie used to the idea. She misses open top Elise driving and although I have a soft top for the V6 I am a bit wary of using it, not because of the warnings in the handbook, but if I had an accident with the roof off or soft top fitted would the insurance company worm their way out of honouring a claim as the car is modified from standard spec. I suppose I could tell them up front that it is modified.

It really suits the solar yellow. I've never been a fan of yellow on the Elise or in fact any of the flat colours but that is lovely. I've decided on Motorsport Green for the Roadster with black wheels.

This is my 3rd Solar Yellow Lotus, Evora, Elise and now Exige. Norfolk Mustard is my all time favourite Lotus colour and if there had been one available when I bought my Esprit, I would have had it in that colour.
I love it. Motorsport Green will look nice on the roadster. What colour interior?

Slightly more boring interior so black suedetex/leather sport premium interior with red contrast stitching. I prefer the Coupe sport premium seats to the roadster sport premium seats but I don't know if I'll be able to spec those although don't see why not. I'm not going all tarts handbag with the interior so the bare minimum for me.
Go on Andy, what's another car? Lol

I could be tempted by the roadster if you can get the fully trimmed interior*
*
1) I am getting soft in my old age and want some creature comforts
2) it is a departure from the 'standard' Elise/Exige interior that Noah had in the ark
3) it looked farking loverly in the Show pictures
2015 Lotus Evora
2022 Polestar 2 LRSM Plus
2023 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline

Yep. I have a deposit down with Lotus Silverstone in readiness for the order book opening in the 'summer' according to Lotus. I won't see the car this year I expect.

I dropped my car off at Murrays this morning for some work and spent some time pouring over the white V6 they have in the showroom. It's the first time I've seen one in the flesh. Just stunning. Utterly stunning. I deeply want one. Time to get working harder and ask for that promotion!
Congrats to anyone who has one - enjoy it
