We are eating potato peelings soup tonight because my excuse for a War Pension has only seen us half way through the month, so have to wait until Sept before we can buy a tin of Spam.
However I am not bitter, just pleased to see that my friends are doing so well and can change their cars every month, when I was up to my neck in muck and bullets protecting them whilst they slept peacefully in their beds.
