Argh that sucks :(

Hope you can get it sorted out without too much hassle. If the car is already Cat D then pushing to get it written off again, buying back and repairing might be the best way to go to give you confidence that it's been done right?

Mark, might be worth asking Willowbrae about fitting a non-oem clam if you decide to buy it back. Not sure how good they are but the Elise-spares one is only £699 + vat and at least you'd know that Martin and the guys would do a good job with it.

Still waiting to see if I will keep mine - Martin noticed that one of the wheels is sitting slightly off so there is suspension damage. CMC have confirmed so now just awaiting results of a geo test... The saga continues!!!

I feel you're pain!

I spun it coming off a roundabout in Jan and hit both ends off the barrier. If I'd been driving like an idiot I'd have been less annoyed! The week after that the new front clam arrived at Willowbrae to repair the damage from my dads neighbour driving into it when it was parked!!

Four and a bit years using it pretty much everyday, and I'd love another and use it just as much, but two people driving into my car and me writing it off in one year has made my insurance slightly crazy. The parts supply issue is also a bit of a concern if I was to get another.

I should really just use the man math justification that it didn't really depreciate at all in 4 year and 30k something miles and just buy another!

I think the car is back on the road so look out for a black S2 111S.
