Merry Christmas. Think there is still life in the old dog yet! Can't be doing with Tapatalk but a more mobile friendly version would be handy. vx220.org works much better on the mobile. Perhaps I should dust off the old laptop

Would hate for this place to die a death.

Admit that I have gone to the "other side" but always find it interesting to hear what is going on in the Lotus world and usually check the forum at least once a day.

Also love the fact that it does not matter what problem you have there is always a friendy person on her to give you some advice (and at least 2 more to take the p^&$ out of your predicament :D ).

Anyway Merry Xmas to all.

I am from Fintry, and therefore have an inherent difficulty with new technology. Just find it harder to find my way about than with standard desktop version

I still check the forum daily, would not be without it.

Social networking takes it toll on older forum formats more than anything else I think but in addition I always felt post austerity 2008 SE started getting quieter too , less cash to spend on toys = less new users was the thinking.

There is a bigger argument here that is if we want to maintain this community and attract new users then we may need to consider a social networking format. As much as I hate F/B and dont use it to date I would prefer that over losing the community we have built up and I have been a part of since 2003 (ie the old yahoo group).

it always feels like home here because of the people.

Yes same sentiment here been carless for years now but this place keeps the dream alive in the shape of karting /curry ,campanzas. SE is greater than the sum of its parts we have nice wee collective here for want of a better word yes its been a fair bit of a down turn but there's life in the old dog yet.
