None of the banners on lampposts etc. When I went to vote at 8.30 this morning, the place was deserted, other than the staff. I get the impression that a lot of people think that it's a fore gone conclusion so are not bothering.
Daughter was voting for the first time today, so we wandered round to our local station about 6pm. Normal busy going in, but we had to jostle our way out due the throng of peeps heading in behind us

Although there's not a huge number of socialists in the Labour Party, even now.
It's a fair point tho. Candidates of the Labour Party as-was, New Labour, and now the Labour Party as-is could all stand against each other in an election and not recognise the party they used to support.

Probably the torys, although maybe a better chance with labour to try and stop snp. Decisions decisions.
Vote Tory Ape, they'll make you richer, more bikes, more holidays!
At times I can understand tactical voting but only if the tactical vote is for someone at least a teeny bit credible. Voting Labour to get SNP out? It's like asking yourself if you would rather step in dog poo or human poo. End result ain't that nice either way.

Slight tangent, Patrick Harvie was out canvassing at the Partick Thistle game on Saturday (yes I support Partick Thistle, no your witty remark is neither original nor particularly witty).
I spoke to him briefly, the urge to call him commie bstard hi-jacking environmental issues for lefty political gain was strong but I resisted.
Should have just called him a cnut.

Ah the cut and thrust of intellectual debate.
If I was called Patrick I suspect I too would support Partick. It's a little known fact that Ben Affleck supports Wigan Athletic for very similar reasons.

He was shorter and less fat than I was expecting, and also quite polite, so didn't really want to hurt his feelings.

Yes SNP will win but I'd rather vote for the party I believe in the most. That way the totals across the country will reflect what people actually want. Hopefully........
That's my thinking now too.
Voted for labour tactically at the general election but felt dirty for voting for a complete bunch of muppets so went with who I would actually rather see in power even though I know they'll get no-where in my constituency.
I'd be surprised if the Tories end up second though- there are still too many people who will never vote for them just because..... well just because.
The parties should all re-name themselves every four years then the masses could vote on who's policies they like best rather than the ones they always vote for regardless.

And Johann Lamont. Jeez. She needs to go and take a couple of happy pills and have a big lie down. And retire. What a mess she left poor Labour in for young Kezia

I like him fractionally more than I do our Johann. I'll give you that.
