Hahaha..... I personally find the 2000 model way less appealing than the 2002 onwards due to the subtle changes inside. I'd struggle to pay more than £5k regardless of mileage and the 4 years of missing history would probably put me off even at that price.... Missano Red will be a stunning car in the flesh, looking forward to seeing the pics!

Mark,
I thought the only changes between the 2000/2002 model were a different gear knob, front grill and the 225 had a 20mm drop in suspension? Anything else I am missing?
The car we are picking up is a 2001 model which has the different gearknob.
Would have preferred the later model but decided that getting a car with lower mileage and lower owners was more beneficial than the facelift

Older cars when you have a coloured interior the whole bottom half is coloured Like so
Newer cars are classier with just seats and inserts coloured like so...
If you've bought black I'm not sure it'll matter

Never realised that, suppose with a black interior it does not make any difference as it does not show up the contrast.

Sorry for the thread resurrection but looks like Pistonheads are warming to the TT
http://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-germ ... -can/35688
Quite enjoying ours although it has not been as cheap on the upkeep as we would have liked, however that is the downside on an older car and suppose its luck of the draw. We thought going for a 1 owner car with low miles would be the way to go, but I suppose it means that any issues take longer to appear compared to a well used example. Must admit that we we do eventually sell it down the line, the next owner will be getting a cared for car in our possession.

Will be selling Verian's 2000 TT Roadster 220 hp shortly, two owners, she has had it from 2004, was Gareth's mum's before that. I had it re-mapped to 275hp, leaves the average Elise for dead.
Interior in excellent condition but exterior needs some TLC so will be priced to sell. WBAC at £1,500.

Tut,
Stick it up in spring on Pistonheads and suspect it wont take long to shift.
TTForum.co.uk would also be a good one but you need to pay a one off subscription to advertise a car

Love the shape of the Mk1 George but it's just too old now. As I think you are discovering!
Mk2 may be in our drive next week. We'll see...

Campbell,
Great news, are you going for the 2 litre or the 3.2?
