Kept the Exige for 2 years.
Had the Honda S1 for 5 years now. Still love it, shame I struggle to drive it since I smashed my leg.

Mini 1000 - jobby brown with deckchair a like fabric seats
MG Metro - with go faster red seat belts
then the first really fast car -
Fiat Uno i.e. Turbo Abarth - on how many left not a lot.
10 years in Hong Kong with a MTR pass so jumping forwards to
Rover Mini 1000 Racing Green.
Fiat Uno Sporting - not a patch on the Uno Turbo
Ford Focus Zetec
MINI Cooper Gen 1
Mazda MX5 NC PRHT Sport

Currently have the MINI as the wifes main car, MX5 as my Mon-Fri and bad weather car as LSD and traction etc, Elise for weekends .

Looking at above I seem to have a tendency for British & Italian cars, not a kraut-wagon in sight apart from the VW and that doesn't really count.

Also
Honda MT-50
Yamaha DT100
Honda CB100N
Honda CB 250 RS
Kawasaki Eliminator 400
Harley Davidson 883 Sportster solid mount in Hong Kong
Harley Davidson 883R rubber mount when back in UK, sold in summer to purchase Elise.

So saving for an Evora now :D

Great list Mike! I was so close to a Capri 3.1 Xpack at one point. Everything was an everyday car for me then though. I'd have destroyed it. :lol

I am a bit jealous of all the Peugout GTI's that you have owned Mike. I nearly bought a white 1.9 when I was 19, but when I got quoted £2000 for the insurance, then I pulled out of the deal. I can still remember my first test drive in a Miami Blue car. Epic little cars indeed.

They were great little cars and probably one of the best hot hatch's.1.6 was the better car of the two. I had so many because they used to throw there big end quite easily so would pick them up on the cheap, re-grind the crank, fit new bearings and run them for a while then sell them on. It was a pig of a job as it's an engine out and they weren't the easiest to work on so garages charged a fortune to do the same which made finding cheap ones pretty easy.
