Im gunna be bringing my spare lid (and my wee bro) so you can borrow that one if hes not using it! Would be a worthwhile investment if you plan to do more days. You can also hire them from KH for around a £5 although they might be giving us them for nothing as per the SIDC day. cheers Ed :)

Glad to hear it

Will catch up with you on the sidelines at Knockhill tomorrow then.

Actualy passenger laps are the cheapest upgrade available and I had hours of pax laps with loads of people in all sorts of cars, even when tracking my own car. I would pull into the pits to cool down and jump in with somebody else, get some pointers and then away back out in mine. Its a great way to pick up lines and braking points and tips from experienced drivers. Even better is going out with an instructor. I should have gone out with an instructor some time but never managed to time it right to catch one. You will be amazed at the handling of the Lotus cars, well I was anyway.

Feel free to grab a pax with me - just give me an hour or so to settle back on track - been almost a year since I did a proper track day.

Can't wait <BG>

Yeah - pop over and see me too. Pretty easy to spot, as I'll have my SHUG track plate on. Again like Mandy, let me get the first hour out the road, so I've got the spading bug out the system ;)

ed wrote:Jim @ 2bular can make anything from a mental (old jj& kenwood) style ultra which is louder than a stage 2 to a 7" zaust which is what i had. The stage 2 gives awesome pops and bangs but drones when cruising. The 7" zaust is fine for cruising and goes nuts on cam. If you ever intend to go down to the likes of donny and bedford a 2 is too loud due to noise regs.
cheers
My 2bular is made to suit low noise track days. The performance is excellent.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....
