Thanks Neil.

I spied the strava stats on most people but wasn't sure if there were other options.

versus actual glenlivet park route;

Only real comment on the Enduros is the stages you compete on are short, so its a 3-4 minute thing, fitness helps in glenlivet. A day in Scotly or Hill of Fare is about as techy as it gets locally
Sunday Mornings work well for me,

next weekend I'm. erm. unavailable and due to be spending some time at 'scotland's premier racetrack' but I'm prettier sure the weekend after is good for me,

Cheers for the info :D I'll maybe give it a miss this year I'm probably not where I need to be.

@istoo
Aye, I went to drumtochty last week for the first time, was all fun and games till I ended OTB and grubbed my front mech! I was riding fetty quite a lot last year but the FC are in just now and everything was way too churned up, getting to the top was a hassle then I under estimated the clearance on my pedals on my new bike when going down the steep bank into the stream crossing, caught a pedal and ended up flying down the bank and in the stream face first so I kinda fell out with it after that.

I'd be up for a morning at glenlivit, assuming you could cope with my lack of fitness! Does the 29th work with you's?

How well do you know Fetty? A group of us been building and riding there for 20 odd years, they have thinned out the main down hill line, ditch pig is still running and randomiser looks clearable. But another of our number built most of the stuff at Drumtochty over the last few years.

Callum, honestly, i would say go and do it, its no different to going on track, enjoying it is 99% of the battle. You are only racing yourself. Well you will get to watch Clarky in race mode, which will probably end in a big crash :)

Don't be put off by what you think your fitness is etc. matey,

There will always be people faster than you and people slower than you, the way I look at it is that is 45 quid to have an ace couple of days on the bike, on some trails you wont have done before, plus you get to meet a load of new people, see some cool bikes and of course, potentially see me falling off ;-)

i just had 2 days in Glentress with my middle son (13) he rode all the black and we did about 3 loops of spookywoods red, he wasnt hanging about, first trip there. really good company, outstanding weather. I am sorry Lotus, bike won last weekend, hands down.

I am just shy of 100kgs so fitness is always struggle, but i will always breathe through my arse and be the last one up a climb. But i dont care as the rewards are always worth it :)

I was up Pitfichie yesterday, had a blast with my neighbour, probably the most enjoyment I've had down devils staircase to date.

Set a few PB's too on Strava, would have liked to have gone under 5 mins down the staircase, but managed 5 dead. should have pedalled more! :BG

I know fetty fairly well, but not 20 years well :shock: aye the top of the pig at the top was fine last i was up but I think the bottom had a lorry/tree felling going on so never pursued it. The randomiser was good going for most of the way, would have liked to have gotten up this last week in the dry and see where things are at but ended up doing a sociable laps at Scolty and Kirkhill.

Getting a puncture almost at the top of pitfichy climb exposed with horazontal sleet prompted a switch to tubeless, that said the staircase was good fun! Apparently there is a home brew trail arround the bottom of the technical climb, is it any good? Or are you better with the climb and doing the staircase?

That looks awesome!

I was competing up at glenlivet at the weekend - Round 3 of the Scottish Enduro Series, much fun had by all (and a lot of beer)

I managed a second place overall in the Lite's pretty happy with my 1st time on the podium for my second ever race :-)

Nice video Doc and liking the music matching to the end :D

I was a touch jealous seeing your Strava activities coming through from your trip. How did you find your brakes when you were touching 63mph?

Steve.

Ps your Stelvio descent is not working on YouTube.

Cheers Steve, bikewise we hired Dogma F8's from the hotel we stayed at and being European the brakes were arse about face so kept you on your toes :lol:
I have uploaded a 2nd version of the Stelvio descent as my original fell foul of the Copyright police lol
