Santa's getting mixed messages from me .. I want an early 6m serial sub but can't find one, so I'm thinking a 5513 but getting one with the right dial (i.e. not a later service dial with white-gold indices) and correct bracelet is looking expensive. Might just revert to good old Mr Sea Dweller .. but no-one seems to want to haggle

A white-faced daytona should be in the AD with my name on it early next year .. but can I stomach the current retail when I paid just under £5k last time?

I've recently been looking to swap my Sub for a SD but deep down I know it's not worth the extra £ for a watch that looks pretty much the same.
I'll treat myself in 2011 for my 30th (same year as Mr B's 65th

Scotty, those both look like practical and elegant pieces. To be honest, I'm struggling to decide which one to wear, so figured that I could just buy them both and wear them at the same time, what with them being so understated and all ....

Hope Santa brings you all what you're hoping for (though where Santa finds the cash I don't know!).

Did you get the freebie watch too?

I love the 3LE too - especially off the bracelet .. I don't think the clasp does it justice. As I said on the other forum, if you have got the free Sub then get the strap changed as they're both 20m lug to lug
