Agreed.

But with regret, I really don't think it will, or they will :-(

And that's from neither a Yes nor a No perspective. It's just an observation. Well, a speculation.
I agree.

Agreed.

Scottish, ex PM, can not see that he has an axe to grind, like myself just does not want to see GB broken up, and that for me is the bottom line.

If it is a yes I am leaving work to get SEVERELY drunk to drown my sorrows.

If no, it will be a usual Friday beverage, happy it's over. Sort of.

Check this site tomorrow morning, if it is still 1/4 and 4/1 then that is your result.

Bookies do not get a two horse race that wrong.

The reason I am in London every week is the most of our department left to join the business intelligence department of betfair. Without exception the people that left were fcuk useless and would have been sacked anyway.

I wouldn't trust them! Lol

With no campaigning today the news appears to be sh*t out of sh*t to talk about ... beards ... freaky fruits (and no, I don't mean Apple and Blackberry) ... anything but the referendum.

The bookies do seem to be calling a big No - £10 gets you £12.20 on a No and up to £53 on a Yes. Of course the bookies are mostly reflecting how people bet, so you can never be sure this reflects the outcome (though I cannot imagine many No voters betting on Yes or vice versa) and I would be surprised if the result was wider than 5% in the end.

I agree with Campbell that this has the potential to be very divisive post-referendum - with a narrow result either way a lot of people are going to be unhappy. Fingers crossed it all remains civil whatever happens.

Cheers,
Robin

Well it only took 3 minutes to dash your hopes. :(

My vote is now cast and there is a certain relief to that. I was undecided right up until last night and although I'm only one vote in about 4.3 million at times it's felt like the final decision is all mine.

Whichever way it goes, there appears to be an appetite for change in our political system - across the UK and not just in Scotland. Whichever way it goes, we also have the option to return to our normal lives and leave the decisions to the politicians or get involved in making a change. Don't ask me how that would happen but I guess that comes down to how much desire there really is for something different and how much is just talk.

I was a YES then a NO and now im back to YES again. I don't need to vote as Lindsay is a NO so we cancel each other out.

Far to many grey areas for me on both parties. I would have hoped the main issues would be black and white. So who do you trust?

I believe there should have been at least a 60-40 win before it could count and will be a real shame if its 49.9% v 50.1%.

Fook it lets have a change, take a gamble, it will be fine :damnfunny

Scotty. Whether you cancel each other out or not it's important to still vote. Whatever way it goes a high turnouts important to validate the result.

Forgive me, Scotty...you are not voting then? Presumably neither is Lindsay?!

Gary's point is excellent. Change is a' comin' no matter what, and I can hardly object to that given the profession I'm in and the topics I work on with clients and delegates!
