Gareth
Ideal spec for you is an original superlight.
135bhp
6spd
lsd
Carbon bits (wings, nosecone, dash)
A good balance between speed and handling.
There should be a couple of nice SLs on Saturday.

0-60 in 4.7secs IIRC (only weighs ~ 470kg without windscreen & heater)
Will still be pulling nicely over & above the ton

Brilliant. Introduce yourself on Sat then.
We can compare it to my 135R.

Errr, just one other point I have to make. Mine isnt quite standard.
But...... will give a good indication of what the cars are like.
Performance on mine would prob be intbetween an R300 and 400.

Would love to go racing (I'm now picturing Mr Crozier falling about laughing) but I'm lacking in talent!
Plus the lack of funds if it all goes t*ts up.
Not so! (OK, I had a little giggle)
I wouldn't say you don't have the talent Gareth, just bereft of the required lack of imagination...
As Gordon says, quick on a trackday is one thing, quick on a sprint or hillclimb is another and quick in a race is whole different ballgame...
Respect to the Gogster!
Cheers,

Night & day compared to the 135R IMHO - Dave's has 170-180bhp - I paxed from London to Dundee in it
(blows big manly kiss to Dave)
