Arrived at 11am .... in the pi$$ing rain.
Done one lap walking round the handful of stands ..... in the pi$$ing rain
Seen Mass' Lambo and Andy's 430 but they were probably sensibly wrapped up inside somewhere
Left by 12pm and trudged back to the field to get the car ... in the pi$$ing rain
Car was stuck so got 2 guys to help push me out ... in the pi$$ing rain
Then I helped push the guy who pushed me out as he also got stuck
Didn't get out carpark 'til 12.40, absolutely soaked and manky with a grumpy wife and 2 freezing kids waiting by the hairpin after saying to them I would run ahead and get the car and be back in 2mins.

You might have got an inkling the weather put a dampner on things a bit ! Even if dry though, didn't think the show was up to much at all. Even if dry, couldn't recommend it for anyone thinking of going along tomorrow. :thumbsdown

The wettest KH ever.

The SV got soaked and wouldn't start so had to leave it there :x

DJ, sorry to have missed you, we were wrapped up inside as we did not want to stay out ... in the pi$$ing rain

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Glad I left when I did, I had a nightmare aquaplaning down the motorway on the way home and marios ferrari went into limp home mode

Track session was a laugh though, full lock sideways out of clarks a few times

Fingers crossed it starts in the morning Mass.
Will see you all tomo for some dry laps :thumbsup

Complete wash out for us.. had Connor (9) and Ethan (6) with me and we got soaked, not much there to be honest, not much for the kids either, I won't be going again....

On the bright side a massive THANK YOU to Andy and Mass who made Connor's day by allowing him to get his photo in a Ferrari and a Lamborghini all in the one day and in the pouring rain too...... Very much apriciated guys! Thanks, pics will be shown off at school on monday by a very happy little camper :thumbsup

:cheers Mark

Had an awesome day today-really enjoyed the track driving and the banter in between was good too.

Good to meet some new people too, the dude with the F40 /cs is indeed a top chap - I came out the hairpin at the end of the second session to see him donutting in front of the crowd halfway between the hairpin and the pitlane turnoff

Didnt particularly enjoy the un-barriered bit all our cars were in, as there were millions of bams all up on the cars, worse if your car is worth a fortune .

Quite glad I pied yesterday as today couldnt have been bettered

Enjoyed today. Mainly due to the pax laps in Andy's F430, but enjoyed some of the other stuff that was on too. Maybe not worth £15 but I think it's a reasonably good event for people who maybe don't get around fast cars/tracks/etc that often and great for kids too.

Feel bad for Mass not getting the Lambo out on track today :( Hope you get it sorted mate :thumbsup Italians obviously don't know much about Scottish rain!

Enjoyed watching the guy doing the manouevres in the fiesta near the hairpin, including driving on 2 wheels 8) The guys taking the kids out in Westfields doing donuts/drifting were impressive, and then two Skylines turned up and did some serious rubber-burning drifting!! Very impressive skills. The guys doing the motorbike stunt jumps were great too . . . only saw them from a distance but was funny seeing them pop up above the stand at the hairpin every few seconds  8) And, as always, Jet Pack Man was v.cool 8)

:withstupid Had fun today yeah, especially laps with Andy in the Fezza  :o  :D :D :D What a car and driver! :thumbsup I think the gear changes were the most impressive thing, just so fast, and the punch you get, awesome! Oh and the drifting too 8)

Hope the SV is better soon Mass :( , was great seeing it again :thumbsup

It was good to see you guys!

The SV is back to Carlo to resurrect it. Shouldn't be too much problem (wet sensors etc).

It was good to meet Mads. Enjoyed his drifting on Sat in the HEAVY rain and it was great driving his CS on the track on Sunday. Very flat through corners, so different from my old 360.

Andy was being his usual self after a damp session on Sat morning and started to go sideways :thumbsup Enjoyed the drifting during the pax. If you are tracking the car on AMP3 TD, you should think about getting the SRF fluid, Ferodo DS2000/2500 pads and braided hoses. Your brake should then last a bit better.

That will be done mate - definately - need to sort the suspension also.

We'll need to get on that run sound. In the borders this weekend if you fancy catching up? GF's birthday, staying near Kelso :thumbsup
