But of course in all the excitement I didn't take the time to dig out my Tools Manifest to check everything off (joke!) and the wee black handle seems to have been overlooked.

Not to worry!

The jack ended up in the boot of the vehicle that was being repaired.

I suspect the wee screwdriver will have ended up in one of the other tool boxes, but don't know for sure ...

Cheers,

Thanks Robin, I did say to him to hold on to it before we left and we're currently arranging repatriation of Jack. :thumbsup

Has anyone heard from euan??
Sorry, last week was so busy at work didn't get chance to reply.

Long story of what happened to me on Saturday. It started with me waking up about 5am and then thinking great i can still get an hours more sleep so dozed off again, Woke up at 7 to find my car sitting solitary in the car park of the Brugstude, chucked everything in a bag and made a dash for the car when i got told by the owner of the hotel that there was still someone left and i was responsible for him!!! What proceed was somewhat amusing but wont go into deatils on the forum, headed off much latter, only to find walshy had left his phone a the hotel, returned to the hotel to find the owners had closed up and disappeared, we head off from the hotel for a second time. Now with no sat nav, no map and a sleeping co pilot i managed to get a bit lost! nearly run out of fuel and start to loose the will to live. By the time we get close to Spa its after 1pm and the rain is coming down in sheets. The decision was made to push on and get home. Sorry if anyone was worried where we had disappeared too i had sent text messages to a couple of people but never heard anything back.

We have had the "Book of tut" put together, think it is time that there was a "Book of Walshy" commissioned .

Makes me look like an amateur.

Hi Robin, i'm not blaming anyone for not calling at the end of the day it was my fault, as i too slept in. Looking back it was a very amusing escapade, and an enjoyable trip.

In future you could try the Robin Strategy. Staying up all night ;-)

I could barely sleep anyway, I was so excited 8)

I can recommend the staying up all night approach. But not if you plan to drive on circuit the next day - as you all know I didn't attempt to drive, that would have been stupid!

Cheers,

'Cos the part about going out on the lash with Walshy and only Walshy was the cleverest thing you've ever done, right?
