Slightly off topic but meant to post this the other day - beware - I've spent the last few years assuring Mrs F that these are not speed cameras.

Shockingly sneaky if you ask me....

It's enough to make you want to sell all your cars and get the tram.

What?

No trams yet, you say?

What the f*ck have you been spending all our money on then?

Camera Vans you say?

Ah, that's Ok then.

Fortunately we knew how to build trams in the 40's. Used to go to school on one, three mile journey cost a halfpenny on school days, and a farthing during the holidays ie 1p today would get you six rides.

None of this arty farty stuff that shuts down the Capital City for a year, then probably charges you a fortune for the privilege of using it.

I took the (very efficient) bus service from Edin Park to Princes St today, and surveyed the general devastation and stalled civil engineering that is the "trams preparation" along the way. Very, very sad.

No wonder the country is in debt. Bunch of feckless, self-interested good for nothings in charge.

Tut for Queen and Robin for Prime Minister I say.

Sorry for thread drift but a couple of "small" Pinot Grigios and several glasses of Chianti later, I can no longer contain my deep seated emotion over this travesty.

Pauline was up in Aviemore on Sunday and she said there was a scam van at the end of the long straight down into Tomintoul from the Lecht side.

You can borrow one of mine if you like....... another slight off off topic, I would like to think that this New Forth Bridge that 200 million savings ???to be spent somewhere else, if ever built , doesnt end in the same way as this infernal tram white horse, Trams and a bridge to no where, I feel a song comming on  .

Ps I was one who said just pay the thing and I did read the question :| ......however I should also have added (only once every other avenue has been exausted). I dident just walk into coart last year and say there's my licance guv and cheers for the years ban a resit and a £300 fine, I did my best to try and keep driving...
However if your clobbered for a few miles over the limit... unlike me.. and your banged to rights then 3 points added unless your on your limit  as Tut pointed out is a luxury I would have loved I dident have any points at the time of my ban not that made any differance...

Once I get my licance back, I would want to keep it obviously but I will look at points slightly differantly if I do pick up 3 6 9 points and I'm still driving then why complain..

You can't really blame me for my slightly slanted veiw of the question.....I think if you hadent driven for six months you would frothing at the mouth just like me :damnfunny

noops
