Anyone still using 48s on an S1 or are ZZRs the only way to go now??

Either way... I need a set of fronts and rears... :?

*edit*.. a quick google suggests ZZRs are what I should be going for. Too late to get added to the list?

Cheers

Dave
Dave,

What sizes do you require?

I will speak to Fiona (Wheels around) and find out if she has placed the order yet and also if there is a cut-off time for additional tyres, then I can add you or anyone else on to the order.

Elise sizes?

If so fronts are £134 each and rears £172 each including VAT and delivery. :thumbsup
Expensive compared to AD08r's!

Fronts, £93. Rears, £117.

I Would say, looking at the tyre, the ZZR has a great contact patch, so better in dry conditions, and the AD08R has more sypes so better in the wet.

like an R888 vs an R1R

Hello Gents,

I have just received this email from Fiona at 'Wheels Around' regarding the tyres that we would like. Can you contact Wheels Around and pay for your tyres please before July 20th. Please don't be late anyone.

"Good afternoon Stephen,

Avon have stock of the tyres you have requested.

If you could ask your guys to phone with payment by the 20th July, that will give us time to process the order and get the tyres here for you for the end of July.

Many Thanks Fiona"

When you phone and speak to either Ronnie or Fiona, if you just mention 'Steve Scottish Elises - Avon ZZR tyres' and how you would like to pay for your tyres please.

Cheers,

Steve.

Update;

I have arranged to have the Abz bunch tyres fitted next Saturday morning at Knockhill (25/7/15).

Stu, Doug, Simon and Dave.........just a heads up to let you know that Ronnie will be at Knockhill if you want your tyres fitted at this time too. If not then you can arrange directly yourself please.

For those that have paid already, thank you very much. :thumbsup

Cheers,

Steve.

Today Wheels Around will be ordering all the tyres that we require. I have had some PMs regarding individuals paying for their tyres, so if you have paid can you add this information to the list below. If everyone has paid, then thank you, as it will save me chasing up any stragglers which could potentially upset the delivery date and subsequent tyre fitting and deliveries to some.

Steve (paid)
Hendeg (paid)
Kinger (paid)
Dave (paid)
Neil (paid)
Ali
Clark
Stu
Simon
Doug

Cheers,

For future reference what was Ronny's price for Elise S2 sizes fitted? I've bought mine already but would've been easier getting them supplied and fitted.
