Used or new Graham?
Knowing you did you look at the 250 or is that a different price bracket?

Tut, the 250 was £15k more expensive. Went for used 220 Cup with 3000 miles.
The 220 can easily be brought up to 250 by a S/C pulley change and and ECU re-flash if that's the way I want to go. Hanger 111 quote £3k to take it up to 260 by changing Exaust, TRD air box, s/c pulley and re-flash. Craig I'm sure could do this for the same or less.

And now the good news, I'll be picking up my Elise 220 Cup a week on Saturday. Elise is dead, long live Elise!!!!. That'll give me something to smile about waiting for the insurance to get sorted
I'll get some pics of new car up later.
Well, I
was feeling sorry for you......

Sounds like the S1 is probably repairable then. Bodywork is relatively easy to get hold of, as are wishbones etc. and the pick up points, if damaged can be welded / reinforced if they are square, and I'd reckon welded / replaced if not...

Still love the my S1 111S. Depending how claim goes if they can't fix it I'll probably look for another quite low mileage 111S for a keeper. It took me a while to find that one, and wouldn't be in a hurry to find the right 111S.
