I just thought the blood & gloop on Jezza's Camaro would upset the usual complaining barstewards who complain about this sort of thing

I just wanted a good old top gear and that wasn't it. The cars were irrelevant, they could've been getting the train around america and it wouldn't have made much difference so that's why I didn't think it was that great. I didn't say it wasn't funny, just not what I watch it for.

I'm sorry, but Top Gear has just lost the plot. I thought that it was a programme about cars. If I wanted to find out how stupid and fat americans are I would just have turned over to American Idol.

The whole dead animal thing just went too far.

Top Gear is not a car review programme, its hasn't been since the old format. The new version is an hour of entertainment based on cars. Anyone expecting lots of standard car reviews is always going to be dissapointed.

I much prefer the hour of cocking around to an hour of Fiat Punto v Ford Fiesta comparisons. Long may it continue.

Agreed TG isn't about the cars anymore, there are good items on some cars sometimes but it is more of a light entertainment show now. That said I can quite happily sit through it in the knowledge that is is silly but not as sh!t at Vroom-Vroom or 5th gear!

That's ok Simon, it was just the "bit sh*t" and "most of it was b*llocks" comments that I cottoned on to ;-)

My understanding is that this was a "feature TG" and the regular format returns next show. It's probably important to chuck stuff like that in periodically so that the format doesn't get "tired", but what do I know, I'm no TV producer, I just watch the nonsense!

I thought the show was funny but I did feel sorry for the audience who probably waited four years for tickets.
